Moving to Proton VoIP starts with the centre's existing setup. A team with its own PBX can connect SIP and retain internal workflows. A cloud PBX suits teams that need a new telephone platform.
Plan the transition
Tell the manager your markets, volume, PBX and number requirements. New Proton DIDs are assigned to the customer for outbound and inbound calls.
If old numbers are published or known to players, plan contact updates and enquiry handling. Assign new numbers to teams and identify who updates operational systems.
Connect and launch
Use the free test period to evaluate connectivity with your system. If the PBX stays, its queues and rules remain there. With a cloud PBX, configure departmental workflows in the new system.
Proton supplies API access and documentation for CRM integration, implemented around your CRM. Check data exchange separately from SIP: calls and their appearance in your system are different parts of the process.
Define switching order and team responsibilities. After launch, check inbound handling, outbound calling and access to required statistics. Managers and technical support are available 24/7.
