DID registration: documents and activation times

DID registration requirements depend on the country and number type. A Proton VoIP manager provides the exact information list when you order. After registration and connection, the number is assigned to the customer for inbound and outbound calls.

Information required

Most destinations require a company name and contact details. Some countries may require address confirmation or business registration documents. Do not apply one country's requirements to every market.

Specify the country, city or region when a local prefix matters, number count and telephone system. The manager confirms location availability, documents and activation time.

Registration and activation

Numbers activate within a few hours after payment. Document verification or ordering for a particular city can take one to three working days. The manager confirms the timeframe for your order.

After connection, organise PBX inbound handling and agent workflows with the assigned number. For support, publish the DID in player contact channels once activation is confirmed. For outbound calling, the team calls from the same number through its telephone system.
