When a number receives a spam label, a contact centre should identify it and review its contact practices. Proton VoIP provides a bot that helps determine whether a number is marked as spam.
Checking the number
The bot helps identify a label. It does not remove it, and Proton does not submit label-removal requests. A check also does not guarantee identical warnings across all devices and networks.
If a player reports a warning, save the number, date and an example of its display. This helps compare the report with the check result. One case does not establish the status of all department numbers.
Contact practices
Reduce label risk by avoiding spam and unwanted calls. Respect consent, refusals and a reasonable frequency of repeat attempts. The bot reveals a number issue but does not correct calling practices.
If answers decline, consider markets, timing, contact lists and calling numbers. A lower answer ratio alone does not prove a label. Investigate number status separately from technical issues affecting individual calls.
